Always read through the curriculum before the session, if there is an exercise in the curriculum complete this before attending the session.
That's totally fine but I recommend you reschedule to another session. Message me (Henry Sleight) on Slack asking to reschedule your session and I'll find a time for that week. I'll ask you to look at this list of cohorts and to tell me which you can make next week.
I (Henry Sleight) can put you in another cohort, just message me on Slack or email.
We don't plan to add extra content whilst the programme is running, you'll get an opportunity to suggest extra content at the end and we strongly encourage arranging further discussions by posting on Slack! You could post a message about the topic you're interested and ask people to react if they want to chat more about it. Or you could post a question and ask people to reply with answers. Finally you can message me (Henry Sleight) and ask me to post something for you.
You can post in any channel (in fact you're encouraged to). Moderators will use the #announcements channel for important practical information so there is no worry about burying anything very serious on any other channel. We find having a low bar for posting thoughts, theories, and memes on Slack produces lively and productive discussion.
